I did it, I survived last night. Making it home somewhere in the realm of 5 am. It's now 930 and I am in a cab on my way to my next job, the razor tvc.
Last night started out fun, then dragged on a but, then became fun again, almost like flipping a switch. Essentially I was on a shopping spree at the number 1 golf store in thailand, super sports. I had to select all my gear and walk around arms loaded up with accessories, golf balls, etc,.
This video was a increase in onscreen responsibility for me as well as in addition to actions, I also had dialog. Cool right? While some lines I asked to edit to keep it more natural things ran quite smoothly. I hope the client is happy I certainly did the best I could.
Part way through the evening I spoke up about hunger. I think this is a useful tip for anyone on set. If you are not physically comfortable speak up otherwise no one will know. They were more than accommodating to my request and found chicken rice for everyone.
I had a good little chuckle as just about everyone panicked as I attacked the chilli sauce to put on my rice. "zach nooooooooooo this is too hot for you". It's nice that they were so concerned for tongues well being.
On another positive note, I will be in phucket at the end of the month. Looks like I booked a tvc with thai airways. The amount of work I have coming my direction in thailand is fantastic.
