It was only a short while ago that I posted a video of my ab
slicer exercise. Following that I decided to start challenging myself with more
and more challenging bodyweight exercises. The other day I presented to you my
handstand pushup using the wall.
After a few comments on facebook, I received a new exercise
to try from Bruce Sweeney. For most of you that name probably doesn’t mean
much, but he has helped changed the life of many people I know, myself
included. He is he founder and president of Simply for Life. This is the
company I worked for as a nutrition consultant for 2 ½ years after finishing my
degree. Bruce is an incredible motivator and has a starvation for knowledge.
While working as a consultant he helped me develop greater knowledge and I even
shared little things he didn’t know. Anyway, the challenge.
Bruce suggested I try the “crow”. This is a yoga pose. It’s
actually a step towards my other challenging move. So I am going to provide a
video for both. In celebration of my 100th post, I thought I could
bust ass a little bit more. Enjoy. Hopefully you like my sleeping pants too.
The second video is a further progression of core strength
and stability. I have no name for it (suggestions please). Give it a shot.
I am going to throw a little plug in for SFL as well. I loved working with them and it gave me the opportunity to help hundreds of people change their life. Some for weight loss, some for weight gain and all to become a healthier person. I am proud of all my past clients, changing your life is never something that's easy to do. Stick with it.
