Now as hilarity ensues on set |
In the past 2 weeks I have started working out at a new gym.
(2110 Fitness Check it out). While getting crushed by a metabolic workout, I
kept thinking back to myself saying “ I used to _________”(insert something of
my former self). Might have been I used to be able to do X number of pullups,
or run X miles or certain strength, but either way I was saying it. Then I
started thinking back to when I was doing my nutrition consulting and the
number of times I would hear that.
We all look back and relish at our former success. While it
is meaningful never to forget where you came from, it is more certainly a
paramount issue to establish where you want to be. I have my fitness goals, lifestyle goals and
travel goals as well.
Here is a quick look at where I am going:
- Gain about 7 more lbs of muscle (just over 3 kg)
- Develop my chest more evenly
- Get on no less than 4 more hikes this season
- Restart my professional career (aiming for pharmaceutical sales, nutraceutical, or agricultural and still thinking a bit about nursing)
- If the right contract comes head to Tokyo, Seoul or Hong Kong or Potentially Europe
- Climb some of the highest peaks in the world (learn more of mountaineering)
These are a few of my goals that immediately come to mind,
of course there are others more personal with regards to gooey stuff like love
and relationships.
