The Start is Near

In my efforts to keep in touch with everyone while I am gone, I thought it would be a wonderful idea to create this blog. I will be doing my best to keep everyone up to date on my adventures.

For those of you that don't know yet. I am moving to Singapore. I am also diving into the world of international male modelling. Zoolander all the way!

My flight leaves Calgary on Saturday. Its all surreal right now. I have imagined doing this for a while and now it's finally happening. The contract is signed, the flights are booked and I am starting to pack. In classic male fashion I have really done almost no packing and my flight leaves in 2 days.

My agent has sent me the information for my accommodations and Wow! Take a look.

Onto some business. I posted on Facebook the other day, asking what are some things I should make sure I have done/ready for the trip. Here is the revised list:
- change car insurance 
- get travel insurance √
- suspend cell phone √
- tell visa you are awesome and travelling √
- find contact info for canadian consulate/embassy √
- pack ( anyone want to help)
- copy all travel documents √ 
- get adapters √ 




Packing list: Unfortunately I can't check any of this off since I haven't packed

Clothes:  

Casual & Trendy - 5 trendy t, 3 casual t, 3 gym shirts, 1 sweater, 1 long sleeve t

Executive - Black Suit, 2 dress shirts and 2 ties

Swimsuit - 2 

Shorts - 2 pairs (2 gym shorts)

Jeans - 3 pairs

Basic Underwear - 10 boxers, 7 athletic sock, 3 dress sock, 4 undershirts

Jacket - rain and casual

 

Shoes:  
Black 
Brown
Casual 
Sneakers 
Slippers 

Tomorrow is my last day of work before I go. My resignation has been a tough thing to do but well received by most clients. Its tough to say goodbye, for some we have worked together for almost 2 years. For others its been a few short weeks and we have developed a relationship. I want to wish all of you great success in the future and remember to stay strong.

It is just as difficult to say bye to my coworkers. I have grown emotionally and intellectually through these 2 1/2 years. I have many of you to thank for that. It truly has been wonderful. Thanks again.
